Don’t Worry & Let Things Fall Into Place

Be careful what you water your dreams with. Water them with worry and fear and you will produce weeds that choke the life from your dream. Water them with optimism and solutions and you will cultivate success.” ~ Lao Tzu

~Siesta Key~Here I sit in Sarasota, Florida! I really had no idea how this was going to happen, all I knew was, my partner and I wanted it passionately.

I have to admit I was very stressed out about it in the beginning. Trying to find a home to rent when my partner is unemployed and I only work part-time from home at best. Having to fudge a little on the rental application was traumatic for me! I hate to lie. Luckily, a friend offered to pay the security and 1st month to get us going.

What we needed:

A place that allowed dogs

What we hoped for:

A place that allowed dogs
A place with a washer and dryer (or hook-ups)
An outdoor area with a yard for our many plants
Enough storage and closet space
A decent and safe neighborhood

The first place we applied returned a fast denial and we were very disappointed, but here’s what happened next. Immediately after the denial, we felt compelled to walk across the street from our friend’s house (which we were using as a “home base”) and met a man working on two condominiums that he owned but unfortunately the property did not allow dogs.

My cell phone rang and I excused myself to take the call as my partner carried on a conversation with the condo owner. By the time my conversation ended, this man offered my partner a JOB! This never would have happened if we had not been denied the first apartment.

That day went by and we felt very grateful for the new job offer but still had nowhere to live. We tried our best to not worry and believed it would fall into place with as little effort as the job did.

The next morning, our friends found a rental property on the way home from the dog groomer so we called for an appointment. We viewed the home and it looked great and were ready to apply! Then the woman from the realty company said she wanted to show us another rental property that was the same price….what the heck, we may as well take a look.

Holy shit! This next property was far superior to the first one so we applied immediately! That awesome house is where I sit, here in Sarasota.

What we got:

A place that allowed dogs!
Washer and dryer connections!
A yard with Live Oak trees draped with Spanish Moss!
A fenced in backyard for the dog and plants (and us)!
Tons of storage…..TONS!
A great neighborhood and aesthetically pleasing!
Only 4 miles from the Gulf of Mexico!
A home on a “dead end” which is crazy quiet!
A frickn garage!!! I know! A frickin garage!
Huge walk-in closets!
A shower big enough for 3 people at once! (NO, that will never happen)

When we stopped worrying and believed it would work out, it did. I really didn’t expect the mature Oak tress but then I realized, I had pictures of these Oak trees on my vision board because I loved them and they found their way into my life.

We got everything we wanted in a house and more. We also got it without any cosigners which was a miracle in itself. We are very happy here!

Since this day….my partner began working and impressed his boss all day long. I am so proud of him!

Give “The Law of Attraction” a chance…..it really does work!

What do you want?

Focus on it as though you already have it
Hold it passionately
Let go of the worry
