Twenty four hours ago I was completely unaware of the idea I am presenting here today. The idea of demons preying on people who have altered their state of mind and/or who are susceptible to these negative influences because of using meth.
Before going further, and as simply as possible, I want to define three words as I understand them from the sources I have read.
Demon – A negative or malevolent, non-physical, entity or being
Possession – When a demon(s) inhabit and take over the physical body
Oppression – When a demon(s) influences an individual without inhabiting a body
My Christian friends believe whole-heartedly in demons, but also throw around names like Lucifer and Satan and quote from the Bible which leaves me wondering if they really believe everything they read, and have they read more than the one book?
I don’t believe any God can fault a person who wants to find their own way whether it be Christianity, Spirituality or other, as long as it resonates with them. If anything, I think it would be preferred, I don’t think we came here to be mindless automatons and be whatever they feel pressured to be.
Hopefully, they gave Christianity serious thought before getting the membership card and are not Christians because they were told they were by their parents or social group.
I consider myself spiritual which can mean almost anything these days. To me, Spirituality means believing in more than I can see and knowing there is a higher order and/or purpose to life – but without a handbook to lead me around and a preference to find my own way.
My Belief on Demons
I do believe there are beings that may not be physical as we know it, or may not be visible to us because humans only see a very small portion of the electromagnetic spectrum shown in the chart below.
Whether or not they have influenced people using meth, that is a good question and one which I want to talk about more in an upcoming post. I needed to get all the above out first to explain my position on Demons, Religion, Spirituality, and the fact that mankind knows very, very little about the Universe he lives in.

Hi, i searched for the electromagnetic spectrum and your website came up and I was quite intrigued by your title and I must say, you are quite right with some of the things you say but I feel I need to elaborate on some truth you alluded to regarding the Christian friends you mentioned. Firstly, I am a spirit-filled Christian, I pray in the spirit, worship the one true God who is the author and finisher of my faith. One thing I must confirm with you is that the spiritual realm is real, very real and yes, one can enter into it both legally and illegally. Christians, thanks to Jesus Christ enter into the spiritual realm legally, with a purpose to overcome spiritual darkness using the light of his Word (the bible) which isn’t just one book, it’s 69 books written over 3500 years in Hebrew and Greek, penned by God Himself though the Holy Spirit. We enter into it with a purpose to battle and take authority, which is what most Christians should be doing until the return of Jesus, which is promised, whereby the whole earth both spiritual and material will be judged righteously. When our material flesh retires, aka physical death happens, your spirit however, will still face this judgement as all spirits are eternal and everlasting and your spirit has two option – Eternally connected to God (through His Son) or eternally separated from God (by the presence of sin), the latter being Hell, which is technically only reserved for Satan (Lucifer, being his name when He was still the angel of music before he spiritually fell from light to darkness and sought to destroy all created in the image of God, which is humans).
One can enter into the spiritual realm illegally using drugs for your mind is the first place Satan attacks, the mind is a battlefield and one of the first things that needs to be set on God (Romans 1:22). Freeing your mind pretty much opens it up to the enemy and I pray that you explore further for the truth you seek resides in the Bible, which will set you free. It’s not about rules and pressure, it’s about truth and love because in both of those, there will be no compromise.

I feel there are many paths to the same destination. Some might be longer or shorter, twisted or straight, but they are all connected.
I came across your website because I googled the topic ” demons and meth”. I believe their are no coincedences everything happens for a reason.
With that said I will tell you a little about myself. I have been an addict for almost 10 years now. I have completed 2 rehabs 2 out patient and my extensive I invited METH in my life 2 months ago. I have tried almost every drug out there and nothing has ever taken ahold of me this strong or this fast before ever. I never ever tried Meth until 2 months ago, perhaps a hidden reservation. Let me add however I am no welfare case junkie. I am university educated topic of study Psychology. And college earning my PSW= personal support worker. In canada is much like a nurse. So before judging perhaps think of my credentials and remember the disease of addiction is powerful and does not discriminate.
Ever since I was a child, I have been “sensitive” I have heard and seen spirits. New things I shouldnt. Dream things that would come to pass ect ect. Having studied psychology, my own personal beliefe is certain drugs such as meth, e, cocaine if one is already sensitive opens that small cracked door way into a flood where levys break. I personaly believe to be sensitive you have to have a firm set of morals, maybe a higher power God or whom ever you recognize. I believe once the flood gates unleashed this is where the tug of war ying and yang battle begins.In the beginning, I would see the shadow people, and hear voices, and banging when no one was around. However 2 strange things have happened in the last 2 weeks.
Last week while at friends house, I had very difficult time trying to find a vien. I am a iv drug user… Anyway I also have been struggling with morals and wamting to get clean and quit this. I have been very depressed and really struggling with feelings of guilt. after a good two hours poking and not being successful, I was almost on the verg of tears. I looked at my bruised body and in mirror and in a flash that lasted two secs has this strange out of body experience where i could see me from a different perspective. I was screaming and my arms were slashed bleeding all down my arms and my wrist were cut. And in that moment I could hear myself think and say ” this is going to kill you”. Then last night. I was sitting at home sober alone, and looked into the glass sliding door which reflects the front door to our home. In the reflection I Could clearly see 3 black demon creatures. I Freaked out turned around and they were there to my visual eye, however when i looked back in the sliding door they were plain as day standing there watching me.
I got on my laptop asap and googled meth and demons. I believe they were real, I believe this is the supernatuals way of telling us if you keep playing with fire, your going to be thrown into it. I believe they are all around us good and bad, angels and demons spirits ext.

Second, Wow! That’s one hell of an experience you had. I never had one so clear as the one you described. Mine were all more shadows and whispers.
I agree, I think we are surrounded by things we usually cannot see and they interact with us in ways we cant imagine. Scary and at the same time comforting because I’m sure there are good ones as well as the bad.
I hope you find your way off meth. It’s a potent drug and I would agree, it does end up killing. I wish you well in your fight.
Yes jennifer, you are correct. I am a string harp performer and I began to utilize very small amounts of things so I could practice longer. I saw what you described ,and when i shared my experiences mildly with the groups of people who introduced me to it, well…they became hostile to say the least. I then retreated to rehearse some more and forget about them and in it came again. Which leads me to believe there are demonic entities posing as human.
