“With the elegance of simplicity, this book takes you on an exploration of consciousness that will shift you to a higher reality.” ~Deepak Chopra
I literally just finished reading Midnights with the Mystic and felt compelled to share it as a huge book recommendation. This book came with high praise from a long time friend and that’s exactly what prompted me to give it a shot.
The main thing I liked about it was that it was very easy to understand with a whole lot of logic, yet mystical at the same time. It was very straightforward without a bunch of preachy, new-agey type of concepts that feel like riddles more than anything else. So, yes, it was easy to understand.
“No lofty thought, just the truth. It tells it like it is.”
~Dr. Joe Vitale, author of The Attractor Factor & The Key
There may be a couple things that may have some people scratching their heads if they hadn’t already been exposed to this type of thing, but overall, not at all confusing!
“When you read this book, I know you’ll resonate with it’s truths,
be touched in ways that can trigger your own transformation.”
~Richard from Texas (from Eat, Pray, Love)
In Midnights with the Mystic, Cheryl Simone recounts her profound experiences and insights to some of life’s tough questions by learning from India’s most sought after mystic, Sadhguru Vasudev.
You will be opened up to new possibilities that you may never have thought of (or maybe some of us have) and it ignites a spark to want to understand more. There are higher realms of reality we can all strive to reach and reading this book is a great beginning!
After finishing this book I really feel anxious to start practicing yoga, more specifically, Isha Yoga, Sadhguru Vasudev is the founder of the Isha Foundation and there are already many U.S. Cities offering the program.
I have several reason for wanting to try Isha Yoga but one reason is health. It may help alleviate physical pain which I feel every day of my life and also help balance us folks with mental illness. I, of course, have bipolar disorder.
As soon as I figure out there where, when and hows of beginning, and how many friends I can rope into doing it with me, maybe I’ll begin a regular update on how it’s working.
This was a great book recommendation to me from a friend, and now I pass it to you.
