Crossroads: Success or FailureI had my first counseling session yesterday and the hour was spent with me babbling on and on, going off on a thousand tangents, until I couldn’t remember why I was talking.

Eventually, it became obvious that I feel bad about not contributing at home in the way I wish I did. The amount of money I bring into the household is almost nonexistent. To make up for the lack of income I clean the house, including laundry, the windows, I cut the grass and feed the dog, cat, fish and birds. (more…)

The thing I wish for myself is passion, a passion for anything! I’m talking about something along the lines of a career or my purpose in life, not about my personal relationships. The relationships I have with my family, my partner and my friends are really good and I consider myself lucky to have every one of them.

The passion for something beyond that has remained as elusive as Bigfoot dancing in a leotard while unicorns sing and fart glitter rainbows! At this point in my life, I feel like you’re more likely to snap a picture of Bigfoot and the unicorns than to find me discovering a passion for anything. (more…)

Have some Fun!

As of late, I have been doing more things that I enjoy which makes me much happier (duh). My passion for creating something out of nothing whether it be a craft, an art, and even writing something on a blank page has been working towards my ultimate happiness.

If you could, what would you do?

It’s not always easy to figure out what you’re going to enjoy doing. Sometimes it’s so obvious that it takes you half a lifetime to figure it out as it did me. Sometimes you need a friend to push you in the right direction, or in my case, several friends over the years. Sometimes I’m a little dense! (more…)
